Can you believe it is almost October? Halloween is just around the corner. It’s time to get in the spooky spirit! We spend Halloween with friends and plan a tempting array of Halloween treats. However you celebrate, you might want simple Halloween food ideas. I mean, seriously, who has time for complicated recipes on Halloween? This year we’re sharing our favorite EASY Halloween party food. One of our favorite drinks for Halloween is this simple Slime Punch recipe. Not only is it gluten free, it only has three ingredients. Top it with whatever you liketo make it spooky.
This recipe needs lime sherbet, lemon lime soda and pineapple juice. How easy is that? You’ll also need a large punch bowl or mixing bowl.
Step 1: Pour pineapple juice into large bowl. Add lemon lime soda and stir until combined.
Step 2: Add softened lime sherbet to the lemon lime pineapple juice mixture. Stir until blended.
That’s it! You’ve made Slime Punch. If you would like to make it spookier, serve it in a tall glass with sour gummy worms peeking over the side. I used sour gummy worms to give it a contrasting flavor.
If you want to go all out and make it look like a shake, top the bottled whip cream. Another spooky suggestion for adding to the punch iscandy eyeballs. Imagine the kids’ faces when they see “eyeballs” floating in the punch!
The recipe can easily be halved if you want to make less and leftovers can be frozen for another day. Tip: If you don’t like the taste of pineapple juice, substitute apple juice.
Slime Punch Recipe

- 1 (64 ounce) can pineapple juice
